Well hell, my new Spectrum arrived this week and it is off the charts. On top of that there was a bottle of the magic elixir in the goodies from Tom. NFS and Spectrum rule!

Cleaned some of the gunk off my chain yesterday but didn't relube. Spun it, it seemed ok, went out and rode. Later, I checked my records and saw that I lubed it with NFS more than 1200 miles ago. It's a fixie chain, doesn't get shifted, never sees rain ... but still. 1200 miles !

Thank you for patience. ALL orders have shipped and we are back at it. No chance of running out of bottles, I'm looking at a case of 6,000!!!!!

Some skunkworks NFS testing in Mass this week once again NFS on every chain in sight ;)

NFS for ball bearings is coming soon. Why? Because I can and it's over the top as it should be. Stay tuned.....

NFS makes my SR feel like Nibali's SR RS.

    Thanks TT.

    Got mine today.
Rode out to Purcellville to "Velo Classique" to get it. Wow. What a COOL little place! So many old steel frames & bikes. It was like a shrine to when bikes were beautiful. Wayne was great to talk with. Right at the end of the W&OD, for those of you in the DC area. Worth the trip, but leave your cards at home. Cash or check. Checks! Who knew they still made those!

Tom - you have a metric ton of little bitty sample NFS bottles coming your way to be used for good or evil. Please waste some on those gravel roads and see if we can appease the g0ds who eat tubular k?

Ready to order some up. I assume performance in dry and dust is equal to that of the wet and muck that's mainly featured in this thread? Because dust is pretty much my except for the autumn CX trips to the other side of the Cascades.

Anyone in Portland or Bend, OR stock this stuff, or are we still strictly on mail-order in these parts?

I've got a page on the website where we list stockiest however none in PNW. LETS FIX THAT!

Yep, it works very well in dusty condition. TIA for your order.

This morning I finally finished off my first bottle, ordered November 2012. That's spread across 5 road bikes and over 20K miles. I'd say I almost got my money's worth.*

    *Meaning holy cr*p that's a deal!

Ha! You're the man, TT. I just use the stuff. But save the shipping. I doubted your claims of this lube's staying power. I have two full back up bottles and another small sample. Or...if you send me a Dario bottle, I'll give it to someone to help spread the word. I have like 4 years of this stuff stocked up already.

Okay, funny story. I was attending a "maintenance and wetsuit try-on" seminar at a LBS for the youth tri team I help coach. They started talking about chain lube. "Apply before every ride. Or at least every other ride." Uh... So I had to interject. "Um, excuse me, but it really depends on what you're using. I easily get 200 miles or more between applications." I think they (the shop folks) tried to dismiss me as some kind of crackpot.

I know that I could go longer in between lubes, but I just like the process of cleaning and lubing the chain and cassette, especially before a longer ride or event. It makes the drivetrain so damn quiet too. In spite of my uber zealousness in using NFS, I keep checking the bottle in disbelief as it hardly seems that I've used any of it. +/- 5,000 miles on 1/2 of a bottle. That would translate to 32oz of ProLink in my past life with no comparison in terms of performance and ease of application. It must be regenerating itself...
