    some tires--especially some of the cx's--have a lump in the stem area because of the overlap of the basetape. here's my solution; mount it, ride it and forget about it. you won't feel it. but you will feel how nice the cx's ride. they are one of favorite high performance tubulars, as they are a great combination of performance, durability and value (expecially if you get a bundle from overseas).

    yup.

    i seem to always use a lot more mastik than most of these other guys.

    the problems seem to occur when you don't use enough.

    we should do a tubular mounting demonstration at the cross camp.

    giggle...you said mount. :hahaha: Dealio. Check the new website update. I've added that to the itinerary. Let's bring a big box-O-tubulars and wheels we'll go nuts.
