I really like my Goruck. The material is good. The stitching is damn strong. They did have some stitching issues when they switched sewing shops, that was maybe 6 months before I bought mine and they definitely worked out any issues they had. I just wish my wife would have bought me a black one rather than a multi cam.

I'll give you $50 for it ;-) ;-)

Check out their military offerings (available in black and foliage as their non-camo colors): Military Assault / Patrol Packs | Mystery Ranch Backpacks
They start at 16L.
I've actually be scouring tactical and firearm forums looking for FS/FT posts for a black one hoping someone will want to trade. I would have exchanged it when I got it, but 1) I was traveling the following week and wanted to use it and this bag took maybe 4 weeks from order to receiving and 2) didn't want to hurt the wife's feelings

I'm glad I'm not the only one with an absurd collection of bags around here. Between travel and bike bags, I think I have more carrying capacity than I have stuff.

As EB said, I'm here more sporatically these days. Long story short, I made a couple of bags for some VSalon locals, including Eddie last fall to get some outside feedback with the goal of doing a short run. Materials are inbound and I'll be sewing up 9 or 10 for sale. All messenger bags with black body, and a choice of color for the outside flap and bottom. Colors coming in include black, red, yellow, blue, and turqoise. Some pics are below, but I'll post pics of the actual ones for sale once they get done. And feel free to PM me with any questions.

Hey, no problem. Anything for you, TT.
Had to run to a meeting before I could finish up that last post. For those wondering about materials, here's what is going into these bags:
1000D Cordura (genuine stuff, not the very similar non-DuPont licenced product that I've found inconsistent) for the outside and all interior and exterior pockets.
14 oz Vinyl coated polyester (VCP) for liner. Orange for visibility. Interior Cordura pockets are yellow.
Mil-spec grosgrain for edging, mil-spec velcro, and mil-spec webbing for the shoulder strap and such.
#69 nylon thread to make it all stick together
And sewn on a Singer 155 which could probably do some serious damage to errant fingers if you aren't too careful.
Really like the Moar Mondrian
What size are the bags, Cody?
