I don't know if it's any particular model. It was built for a serotta employee who seemed never to build it up. I picked it up as a used (but unused) frameset -- came with the fork pictured, with the lugged crown, as well as another steel fork painted to match, but without the lugs or threaded steer tube. I think that it sat around for 5 or 6 years, in a box, until I bought it and built it up. Reynolds 853 pipes, according to the sticker.

It might be slightly long and slightly tall for me for cross racing, although I raced it a few times last year and it worked out fine.

What was intended as a quick loop through Golden Gate Park to get the shifting dialed quickly turned into a 3-hour threshold slug-fest in the Headlands. After about 30 seconds on the bike it was apparant that I wasn't going home any time soon. I don't think I've had that much fun on a bike since I did my first wheelie when I was about 7.

Holy Crap Sasha can build a frame....and yes, the electrical tape is temporary... :)

I kinda giggled when I saw the tape under the cables. That bike is the shit.

VSalon-worthy. SRAM looks right and the graphics do not detract. Super nice RS, it's great to see the leap in full cry.

It's only available in the Griffo XS (semi-slick). White tread with black sidewalls. Break 'em out for the buffed and clean days. And put some gel in your hair. Hot.

Is that a carbon post? Does Oval make an alloy one? I might like that on my zankaroni.

Well...my cross bike may not really be worthy of the forum but it's a fun bike and I threw it together for less than $500. The bar-end shifter may have to go if I actually do any racing this fall but I should be able to grub something up for cheap :-)

I have been warned that breaking a spoke may bring "Jodie Foster" time... but I can't help but to give em a whirl on the stage.... er, local cyclo(beer)crossing series. BTW, I have a Centaur 10 speed compact crank that I just haven't convinced myself to put on yet. I am no podium chaser and the triple has such unbeatable range....

Now, you Irish cops are perking up. That's two sound theories in one day, neither of which deal with abnormally sized men. Kind of makes me feel like Riverdancing.

Twowheels, are those the Tufo Flexus tires? If so, how do you like them. I just ordered a set, but had a hard time deciding between those and the low pressure whatevers.
