I'm guessing they're not designed for (or probably by) people who also want a Mercedes W113 or an original NSX.

Oh, you reminded me of the NSX. One time I'm riding down the other side of the river and I hear this noise. I wondered what it was and one of those came by. Nice car, great engine sound.

Part of my attitude is I am now an old guy that likes pootling down the road at no more than 8 over the speed limit. I likes my comfort.

My Roomba looks remarkably similar to that car. Does that make my Roomba a midlife crisis Roomba? Don't answer that.

I'd go with 3 midlife crisis bikes instead of any of the above. And yes, you can get a Pinarello e-bike.

This is as close as you get- Kona-N. They sell a Hyundai i30N hatch which looks sedate but is really a wolf in sheep's clothing.

The Toyota looks very similar to it's design inspiration, Gundam Wing.

Local guy had one that was pristine. Used to talk to him about it sometimes, when I'd walk the dog past his house. He moved away and took the car with him, which feels unfair.

I'll probably wind up with something practical (hello AWD Ridgeline) and keep my more-than-I-need impulses focused on bikes and ski gear.

If that help drivers always fail to hit pedestrians and cyclists I am all for it.

    Goodwood is insane.
Just as fancy (or more) as that concourse thing in CA, but with the actual burning of gas and rubber.

Looks like a fun car … would love to have one AND a 911 … but if I could only pick one I'd go with a cheaper (996) 911.

Saw this on my ride today. Looked like a nice driver with an updated drivetrain.

We had all kinds of infotainment issues with our 2019 Pilot. The service techs at our Honda store are very good - they claim to be the store that figured out the issues with the CANbus connectors/FAKRA connectors. We had issues with popping/cracking, and randomly the infotainment system would simply shut off. If you eugoogle “pilot fakra” I am sure you’ll find it… I think the issue eventually made it to a NHTSA campaign.

Hope that helps. Since replacing these connectors, the car has been bombproof for us, we’re very happy with it.

I am pretty sure I saw a Citroen Dyane today. It looked a lot like this:

    diane6_45_1620x1000.png

I can't be sure. I thought it was a 2CV but it looked slightly wrong.
    So it's probably a Dyane.
I do not think I've ever seen one before.
    GO!

Was it going around a corner, and was one of the rear wheels off the ground?
