Dang, an untouched Defender. Does not look correct without grime and Rhino horn holes.

I’ve never seen a Defender in that condition, as it was pristine…parked on a side street in Paris near the École Militaire. The car that I tried to photo, was a tattered blue and white Land Rover pickup truck that I spotted twice during the week, driving in the same neighborhood. Both times, he was moving too fast for me. Next time…

hey, how lucky can one man get.
There's a whiskey distiller in our area that has a cream Defender 110 with the company logo on the side of it, which I see all over town. It is absolutely pristine, so my guess is it had one of those soup-to-nuts refurbs, probably from these guys, given proximity.

Since Defenders and the like are on the plate here, I saw these on my 2021 trip to Switzerland. The Defender is pretty common as a work vehicle for municipalities and agricultural work. Some are "lifestyle" vehicles but mostly they're work trucks. And the G-Wagen here is a military vehicle and was part of a large convoy of them. Not a Beverly Hills lifestyle vehicle.

You'll proportionnally see more Iveco Massif, Santana Annibal/PS-10 and Steyr Puch G-Class being used as works vehicule and abused than you will see their more luxury Land Rover and Mercedes counterpart.

When your neighbor steals your parking space to park his Cullinan temporarily and then leaves it there. . .
Is is just the optics, or is that thing so wide it's also infringing upon the space of the neighboring spot?
You get your own tray table in the back seat! And "more power than a Saturn V rocket."

1956 Morris Minor Utility Van that I often see on my neighborhood walks. Other than missing
the rear bumper(I think it originally had one?) it's very clean, cool little car/van. My older sister's first car was a late 50s(?) Morris Minor convertible, reminisce a bit whenever I pass this.

^^^ That thing looks great! Color matched wheels with hubcaps are the answer the industry left behind.
My electron pump was installed yesterday.

I’m still casually looking at electrics, awaiting the right car.
I read about the BMW 4i: Range approaching 300 miles, decent performance without being over the top. Price below 6 figures. While I’m still not a fan of the new BMW grill design, I don’t find it as offensive as I did at first.
But then I saw the rear end. Why, BMW, why?
