Fourteen more outs and I'm chugging this.
It's Friday and fall is knocking on the door here in Central Fla. That's nothing to be grumpy about.
I wish you all get to do things that make you smile and laugh. I'm going to have a peaceful bike ride, some solitude with my welder, a Key Lime Cheesecake and a bunch of naps thrown in.
Producing Carbon Dioxide and have been rocking my fixed gear this week.
I like fall as I always fall back in love with riding my fixed gear.

Riding in the morning before work means riding from the dark into sunrise on fall foliage, a good way to start the last work day of the week.
My wife & I spent last weekend in DC, bouncing from one group of friends to another. In between we retreated to our ridiculously cheap suite in downtown Bethesda. Feeling very lucky to have such great friends and the ability to connect with them at will.
Right now I'm living vicariously through my daughter's blog. Today's photos include this view from Mount Nebo:
GO!
...Plus we went to the National Gallery for the Wyeth exhibit. Which was great.
But when I walked into a gallery and saw this, it made my day:
Stunning in every way.
GO!
heading to Santa Rosa this weekend for a cousin's 1st birthday. as its in wine country, the party is at a winery!

Among other things, it is 85 and sunny in SF today, and beautiful people are dressed accordingly.
Heading home after the week on the road. Plus my employers fraud detection works! Of course, whoever it was made it easy. They spent $180 at a Tim Horton's in Toronto and then tried to pay for a cab ride at the very same time I used the debit card for dinner in Las Vegas. I don't think it was the two places at the same time thing, I think it was the $180 at a Tim Horton's. That's basically a convenient store, no?
If you used your debit card at a Home Depot just go get a new one. It'll be easier that way.
Ellison Park CX is this weekend...UCI C1/C2 race within riding distance of my house. It also happens to be the only cross race that I've DNF'd, tomorrow barring disaster I will finish and get that monkey off my back. Course preview/clinic tonight, possibly followed by beers depending on how reckless I am feeling. Should be a fun weekend.

my GM came in my office this week and told me I did a good job on something. Sometimes it's the little things.
Insubordinate. And Churlish.
Three day weekend with Tacchino CX on Sunday. It's gonna be a modder! No more dusty lungs.
