I've been eyeing this one for the last few months

I'd say Moto Corsa would drop another $500.00 off this thing.
Shipping for $400.00 is a good deal too!

A 2010 Hypermotard EVO SP is definitely one I can an eye out for.
The newer liquids are pretty damn nice too.
These bikes are just fun and in a class all their own.
Im no Ducatisa but some of their bikes are pretty cool and I don't need air cooled or dry clutch.

No as a daily. Power band and handling just aren't right for the street. The torque is in the wrong place and the thing handles kinda sluggish and feels long at regular speeds on regular roads. I was all ready to buy a panigale and then I rode one and them rode a supersport- the supersport with 40 less horsepower felt punchier and certainly was far more nimble and fun. I much preferred the ergonomics of the Panigale- and I'm probably going to be the only person in the world with rear sets and lower clip-ons on their supersport s!
Yes on getting it for the track. That's where that bike will be perfect.
Hell no on putting a bike rack on a superbike. Save that stupid idea for a BMW or something.
I tend to agree, in general, about not having a need for an air cooled, or dry clutch, Ducati as a principle. For the most part the liquid cooled, four valve Ducati's are superior is just about every way. But for this purpose, the air cooled 2010 Hypertmotard 1100 EVO SP seems just about perfect. It's makes enough power, and avoids the weight penalty of the liquid cooled motors, and looks super clean without the radiator.
That said, a 939SP with all the bells and whistles looks pretty darn sweet too. And, I absolutely agree about the Hypermotards being in a class all their own.
I'm in no way a racer and know next to nothing about it, but since I have an RST 1000 Aprilia (sport tourer) I have to put a plug in for the RSV4. I've never seen one in person, but wow. But if that's too much for you, there's always the Tuono...
Thoughts on a V4 Ducati?
it looks insane but i'm not sure if a four cylinder ducati is like a water cooled 911- where it will take a bit before it's a real ducati and even then people will still believe the last of the v twins were the best ones.
