Hi guys, I wanted to share this and see what you think.
Donlalo,
very nice bike. silver components for this paintjob are a good choice. My backend is not compatible with Brooks saddles - if this would be my bike I would hunt hunt for a bartape in this very green of the graphics and go to a saddler with an SLR or Flite o that he puts some leather cover on it in that green.
Again - beautiful bike!

Thank You, Advineas ! Its a very good observation you give me about the green options. I will see what there is out there an try to picture it on my mind.
Cheers!
Fizik make handlebar tape in that shade of green, you can also order a saddle from them in the same colour - if you decide that's what you want to do
Here's a pic (not my bike)

really nice bike, by the way, looks great with alloy components
Guys,
This is the thread for questions to, and answers from, Dario. There is another thread in the Gallery to post photos and make comments about customer bikes.
Thanks,
Davids
GO!
I purchased a Marcelo frame new in January and I have been slowly collecting parts for the build. Last week I finally received a 29.4mm carbon seat post and I decided to put it in just to see how it looked. For some reason it does not seem to fit. I can just about insert the post about an inch or so before it gets so tight that it will not go in any further and scratched the post in the process of taking it out.
I checked the diameter at many points along the seat post with a digital caliper and it measures 29.40mm ±. .01mm.
I also looked in the seat tube and don't see or feel anything unusual.
Now I know the frame has not yet been faced and chased, but I didn't think that the seat post needed to be reamed as well. Is this common for Pegorettis?
Thanks,
Kris
I have a 29.4 Duende, no problem with the post. Don't imagine it's a common problem.
Is there a rider weight above which a Duende becomes not such a good idea, and a better choice would be a Mxxxxxx, BLE, or Love#3?
Ciao Dario;
I have a question for you about colour code / description for the yellow colour of the Arrows paint scheme on my Duende. I dropped the chain and dinged the paint on the chainstay and would like to find a paint colour to match for touch-up. Could you help? I also just have to say what a pleasure it is to ride a bike of the caliber of the Duende. Everytime I ride this bike I'm amazed and honored to ride it. Thank you for building bikes likes this.
