Our resident Western Swamp Wallaby (we call her Lorraine!) with her 13th joey...............

We estimate 13 years old as that's how long we've seen her in the garden here. They are said to only live 15 years in the wild and can produce 2 joeys a year when the going is good. Lorraine may live a little longer as she has her own 6 acre buffet and very good weather shelter...............
These adult brolgas stand about 1.25cm tall - dwarfed by the distant wind turbines.
