I'm not in Europe, nor need any carbon repairs currently, but this is a very interesting story to follow! You have a lot of energy and initiative, clearly! Very interested to keep reading about your business and observations about carbon.

Thanks!I like Merida. This is my personal MTB:

I know, it has really cheap parts on it but you know how the saying goes: The shoemaker always wears the worst shoes. One of these days I'll buy some good stuff for it.

I Kevlar coated the rear end to make it bullet proof:

It's amazing how much can happen in just 6 Months. To start, I bought my first real lathe. It's a 1956 VÖEST that was originally sold to the German army.

I also had a very big job from a major German maker. They had the Di2 hole for the RD re-drilled to fit a special plug to fit Campa as well. The jobber that did it used the wrong tool, which caused fraying. They sent them to me to be fixed - 125 frames in 3 weeks. I can't say who it was but all of them were sold as new.

Finally my Pavo Puzzle is finished. Here are a few shots:

What is not on the pics are the wheels. Front is a Windcheeta 3 spoke wheel with a worn though breaking flank. Rear is a Storck that was cracked at the valve hole.

I've put over 600 km on it including a downhill run at 75 km/h. Here's a list of what was done:

Frame - broken in four parts - repaired, internal cable routing and toptube lengthened (20 mm)
Fork - broken 10 cm above the crown
Handlebar - cracked from the break handle
Cranks - both cracked at the pedal axle
Pedal - right pedal cracked at the clip hinge
    Seatpost - Alu top loose
    Bottle cage - wings cracked
Front wheel - flanks worn through. replace with an Alu flank for clinchers
Rear wheel - crack at the valve hole
RD-hanger - made new from carbon
FD-hanger - made new from carbon
Spacer - made new from carbon

What I still need is a 90 - 100 mm stem and another bottle cage. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Kevin

I like it that you have a shoe polish machine in your shop as well.
