Does anyone know how to change the number of teeth on the chainrings in the chainstay view?
Hi,
<double-click> on the right crank
a dialog field apears
edit: CrankSetChainRings:
every chainwheel is seperated by "-"
cheers
is there a way to change the tube shape? i.e., adding a bend to the seat tube?
When saying that, is there a way to change the angle of the bend in the "bent" chainstay?

Hi,
a lot of updates came into rattleCAD and current Version is
rattleCAD 3.4.02.80
https://sourceforge.net/projects/rat.../files/3.4.02/
Download rattleCAD from SourceForge.net
the newest version rattleCAD 3.4.02.83 deals with tapered headtubes.
I will invite yout ot test this feature and to give any feedback, if there will be any bugs (hopefully not)

The download doesn't appear to have an exe file in it.

Mark,
you can download the exe-file seperately
https://sourceforge.net/projects/rat.../files/3.4.02/
cheers
Thanks Manfred, works now.
While I have you here, is there any easy way to add custom dimensions to the jig page?
Mark Kelly
What are your needs?
you can also choose between different Jig-Types?
Yes, I've sen the options, none of these jigs work the way mine does.
Clipboard01.jpg
I need the two measurements shown to get the positions for the two plates that hold the arms.
I can derive them by simple trig from existing measurements:
Jig rear centre = Horizontal Chainstay - BB drop / Tan (STA) (= 385.1 on drawing above)
Jig front centre = Wheelbase (no rake) - Jig rear centre (=665.25)
An option to have them directly would be nice if there is a way I can add them to the program (I'm not expecting you to customise it)
Mark Kelly
565.25, not 665.25
Mark Kelly
It is possible to customize it,
how does your jig look like, maybe it is better to create an own jigtype to select.
what name would you prefer for this jigtype.
I think it will take me an hour or two
cheers Manfred.
I call the jig the BikeMaker.
Mark Kelly
which dimension are not necesarry for this jig?
Is anyone else having problems getting BikeCad to launch in Win10? Works fine on a Win 7 machine.
