I have bike stuff, but I'm even more proud of my collection of 70's Bundesliga uniforms.

Shino needs to make an appointment with his local California Closet rep. That or exercise the same restraint that I have in posting photos of my completely unorganized "stash house."
also - I want to rip off a few tail whips on ifracing's 1985(?) pro performer. I had a magenta one just like it. Man I loved that bike.

I had a neon pink one.

And for the record, my wife has the biggest collection. Hers outnumber mine by one.

They didn't make neon colored bikes until 88 iirc. Here's the color mine was but it didn't have the double bend in the down tube.

Eddie Fiola ruled, though RL Osborn was pretty rad too.

I always remember BMX Plus referring to him as "Raccoon Lips"

Hey, I didn't even post a picture of my storage unit which houses my collection of Campy wheels, rims, cross tires and my old Trek 950 mountain bike.

I dreamt of having a bike like that in '85. Instead I purchased a Rampar. It was all a 13 year old could afford.

I found the Pro Performer in the trash in the Back Bay.

I spent 4 years of paper route savings to buy mine second hand from this artsy chain smoking kid who lived in my neighborhood.

From 85 - 87 I spent most of my time and disposable income swapping out and upgrading parts for it. Kinda like my bike habit today.

I gave it to a (looser) nephew of mine 10 years ago after his bike was stolen under pressure from my parents as they didn't have the room to store it any longer. I was a month from moving into my house and having plenty of room for it. The nephew of course left it outside for a few years and subsequently threw it away.

    Damn it.

Nice workshop & pegboard. More pics pls. Perhaps a separate thread but would like to see home-based work areas and club shrines. Looking for ideas for a future project.

btw - are those helium tubulars on the floor?

ok, I'll play. This is the room formerly known as sunporch. As you can see, it's not so sunny these days.

Downsized to my correctsize. Lack of pegboard is a personal choice. The toolboxes were gifts from my parents from the 70's. The workbench was a father son project. I watched while he built.
