I started watching the new season of Shetland after Q1 and let my kids trash text each over the game. Based on how the game started, it could have been worse.

hey, how lucky can one man get.
For sure. I am happy this morning despite the outcome. The Husky defense, a liability all season, continued to improve from both a scheme and personnel standpoint. The Husky offense was hobbled going in, and it showed. They weren't able to cash in the chances the defense gave them. But the team was good enough to make it a genuine one-possession game until less than 10 minutes remained. Up against a team with the advantages Michigan had--recruiting, health, depth, prior CFP trips with this coaching staff--the Huskies represented themselves well. Like Don James used to say, you have to play big games to learn how to win big games.
