Most everybody in my family is into art and/or crafts. I like writing, drawing, model building, singing (I'm the only one that likes my singing. Probably in the entire world) and before I die I'm going to some stand up at a comedy club. I have a brother inlaw that's into wood working. I came across this kit today. It's not a "wood working" kind of thing, it's a kit made out of wood though, Ha!. I think he would dig it, I sure do. I'm not down with the whole kickstarter thing, but I want this self propelled wood train kit and all the other kits on this page.

Talk some sense into me before I've got five hundred dollars worth of this stuff on my front porch in April. Forget it, I'm in too deep. If it passes the smell test I'm ordering the whole lot of them next week. I want all of it, like now.

scrubadub, thought about getting this for bro inlaw, wood kit of a stage coach. It's very intricate and the finished piece is something I would want in my home. Check it out and let me onow what you think of it.

Those look neat too but I really like the mechanical geared nature of the models you posted earlier. Might need to use them as a birthday gift since it looks like they won't ship until April.

Yeah Matthew, I got a deflation problem going on right now (too many goods chasing my too few dollars, Ha!). scrubadub, I don't want to muck this thread up with a massive drift but I need to know how this kickstarter thing works, I've never been involved with one. Do I get in on that train model (and all the rest) now and send money or do I wait until April and buy then. Anyone who knows how to play this, PM me with answers if you can, I want all of those Ugears models.

Neighbor decided it was a nice calm night to play with their six figure drone which must mean the FAA clearance came through. Nicest one I've spent time flying was a 50K quad many years ago. Long before they were banned in national parks or tried killing pro super g skiers. Call this a want with some trepidation.
