Hoping that this is a bridge too far. NPR is not mainstream. Mary Louise Kelly’s credentials are impeccable, and she has been in the public’s eye longer than Pompeo (a decade longer). She has painstakingLy built credibility to become an icon in an industry that depends solely on credibility, during much of the time that Pompeo’s accountability was nil, authority was absolute, and responsibility was solely to rake in dollars from the defense industry.
This is an overreach of the administration to broadly smear journalism, and I hope it comes back to bite them in the ass.
Mary Louse Kelly has completely outplayed Mike Pompeo in this set. He looks like the red-faced blowhard that he is.
And to think, she may not be the alpha among diplomats from other countries that include Russia, Iran, and North Korea. Pwned, we are.
