Last yr. in Costa Rica 8 of us loaded into the back of a very similar rig to travel to my pals wife's cousin's coffee plantation at near 6K' We went straight up that freakin' so called road. Wow, what a machine.

I didn't get why people wanted these things. I talked junk about these. I watched some racing videos of these and OMG I really want one of these now. It reminds me of my R/C car faze, but better, these fly! Not just anyone either. I want this one. Carbon frame, you can recharge it without removing the battery and better yet, instead of the whole thing pitching forward when you go, the rotors tilt instead! I want. It has to be this one:

BMW motorcycle above many decals removed, yellow-swapped-to-black, more realistic tires, and it would be way cool!
Jonesing for one of these lately.
My wife will not sleep outdoors or in a vehicle, so it'll have to wait until we have (a lot!) more money and the kids are big enough for me to take them away for a trip on my own.

I've been working on my wife for one of these for several years now. With Honda discontinuing the Element, this may well be the next bike vehicle...

What is it? I might need one...

Were I to drive to the mountains of Nelson County, VA or similar area to pedal bicycles with some pals for a week, those customized M-B vans would be the schizzle! Looks like they can be configured for minimal "flash" as well. Could handle hauling chores for a bunch of riding friends. Nice!

This is going to be the year I finally update my larger camera rig for events and race shooting. I'm eager to be shooting on a Fuji again and will pick up the X-T2 soon. Will start with the 35mm F2 and then maybe go
I've always wanted a long 2.8 telephoto, but the Fuji 50-140 is ludicrously expensive and I tend to shoot from a wide to normal perspective for documentary style anyway, so I'm not sure how much use it would actually get.

That XT2 or the new XPro are pretty high on my list. I'd like to replace my Oly EM5 in the next year or so, but am extremely finicky about my requirements: good manual controls, solid dials, good low light performance, fast focusing, and weather sealing (both body and my proposed key lenses.)
I haven't shopped for mirrorless cameras in about 4 years so I'm curious as to what'll check all these boxes these days.
In the meantime, the Oly + 17mm/f.18 gets grabbed for taking pictures of my kids, and my Ricoh for everything else.
Back on topic- I wish my beat up new-old rig looked like this:
