BTW, they already rebooted the Spiderman franchise:
Looks craptascular.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

cast away is a really good flick but i can appreciate why some might not like it. but zemeckis sucks? dude directed back to the future. like tarantino and pulp fiction, you make a movie that good, and you're an immortal legend, irrespective of anything you might do afterwards.
^^ see, I dont know why folks would hate Cast Away. There was nothing controversial in it. Nothing there to really make one really like or hate. Its like hating toast with cheddar.

Meh...Green Mile like a lot of King's stuff is pretty toast and chedder to me. Its not great, its not bad...its predictable and okay. I do think the actors/directors and screen writers did a great job keeping the film together.
I think Tom Hanks is an awesome actor.

The Hurt Locker. It won six Oscars, and did nothing but disappoint me, apart from the tension-filled opening sequence, which was awesome.
The sacred cow I hated was Lost in Translation. It’s been a long time since I saw it, so I don’t remember all my grievances but I do remember thinking that it relied on very lazy stereotypes to create the alienation felt by the Johannson / Murray.
hmm. I liked Hurt Locker. got it by mistake as the video guy gave me the wrong disc. No idea what it was about. Loved the scene in the supermarket.
I'd nominate Brick for this category. Some good scenes but the high school thing got old really fast.

It's been a while since I've seen the films, I'll make my list short.
Cast Away was an extended FedEx commercial. Forest Gump was unbelievable on so many levels.
I know that Tom Hanks has to be happy with the bucks, but should be ashamed of his association to such insipid writing.
The word on Cast Away was (and I worked at UPS when it came out). They (producers) approached UPS for the movie but they turned it down because they thought a plane crash would negatively affect the customer's perception of the company. And then they came out with "What can Brown do for You?" - a couple of bad moves in a row.
