Teh best finish carpenters Circular Saw in the World, no comparison period. The Festool TS 55
This is one of those rare tools that makes far more possible than any one tool should. There is a learning curve, however...
I used to have one of these and with appropriate blades and guides, more can be done with this in less space than virtually any other single tool I have used. The guides make this as utilitarian as a table saw, and it still packs into the cute little box. If ever I was to become a professional carpenter again, I would build my entire tool kit around Festool equipment.

Dang Chase you struck a nerve. I totally overlooked the Patagonia double "Stand up" shorts. These were the only shorts I ever owned that could stand up to the rigors of racing an Chesapeake Bay Log Canoe and looked good over my swim trunks when you go for a slice at the Boardwalk ;) Crazy good quality and the canvas looks better and better and better....

I could wear these for 75% of my life and be happy.
The other 25% would still be split between running shoes, cycling shoes, sandals, and slippers.
The only reason I wouldn't wear those for 75% of my life is how damn heavy the indy boots are. I wear mine less than I would like because they're so damn clompy.
As summer approaches I would like to get friendly with Oakstreet Bootmakers' Beefroll Penny Loafer:
Their website gives the impression that they're making shoes start to finish, including tanning the leather, on the north side of Chicago. Has anyone been up to visit these guys?

My favorite day would be trash day. I'd get up at 4am just to drive around town and pick bulk items up to haul around, only to put them back where I found them before the trash trucks come through.
Dudes, I know this is totes boring. But warmer weather is coming. These are essential.

or break out the scissors. Either way. Your shoes, and anyone who happens to be around when you take them off, will thank you.

Thanks for the clarification. Now that I go back and read the site again it's clear that they aren't tanning the leather:
"Oak Street shoes and boots are constructed from renowned Horween Chromexcel leather. Chromexcel undergoes 89 separate processes taking 28 days and utilizing all five floors of the Horween facility in Chicago."
I had thought on first read that Horween was a style, not a tannery.
Horween's got a great blog if you want to gork out on leather stuff.
This. Ever since I was a kid. And specifically at 3:04, where I giggle like a little girl.
