New group, new cassette, new chain. Tell me again please, NFS now or after a few rides. I know we talked about this before but have pity on an old man.

I’ve left a new chain go a few rides then applied NFS and I’ve applied NFS from the get go on new chains. My vote is from the get go Mike, with no science at all behind my statement. It just felt better.

RW is not wrong. Personally, I go for one ride of 3 hrs. or less and than apply NFS. I'm not sure there is a good reason for either choice. You will notice that if you ride with the factory goo on the chain from the get go the first time you wipe down the chain, with NFS applied, it will be dirty looking. After the first ride it will be nice and clean.

Turns out I’ve got a good mechanic, I was talking to him today about installing my fork when it comes in and he said he never lets a bike leave the shop without a dose of NFS. He has earned my business.

Mike I love that. Thanks, made my day :)

It is with deep regret that I will no longer sell NFS NE PLUS Ultra "NFS+". This product was made to serve my own desire to have a 100% Odorless colorless non-toxic biodegradable chainlube which actually works. The product satisfied a geeky need (my own) and has to date some dedicated followers who dig the ethic.

Unfortunately, the stuff is wicked expensive to make. It is time to say "it's been cool baby but we need some alone time yo".

There is a very slim chance I'll produce another batch if there are enough people to back it. Send me email or reply here and we'll assess the sit-u-ation. In the meantime I know that bottle of NFS+ you are nursing along will last a good long while ;)

I used my NFS to smoothen out a binding faucet handle in my bathroom this past weekend. Good as new.
Glad I was able to do it on the cheap because the next step was ceramic bearings.

My two bottles of NFS arrived in Germany just in time for me to test it out in some absolutely horrid weather. From rainy rides on my commuter to two-hour slugfests in the snow/rain on my road bike to muddy logging roads on my MTB, this stuff rules.

Chain is quiet for any length of ride I dare to attempt at this time of the year and seems cleaner than with the Muc-Off dry lube I had been using previously.

    Consider me a convert.

I know I'd buy a few bottles of the "fragrance-free" NFS.

I used a touch of the NFS race grease to silence a screeching tower fan. I once replaced one of the bearings in my vacuum cleaner beater bar with a Bones Swiss bearing from my skateboard days.

    Now that's Vsalon-worthy. Nice.

Sorry Eric. I'll take all offers but I have to warn you startup for a batch run is the killer and want to keep both kidneys.

Does this mean there is no more? Or does this mean get your orders in now because only a few bottles are left?

Apartment living requires NFS+ and I need me some more.

I zero'd the invetory on my e-commerce site NixFrixShun Bicycle Speed Shop

Give me a little time. I'm going to bottle all remaining stock and see what I've got. I'll come up with some sane process that takes care of repeat NFS+ customers for one more order. FWIIW Your requirement is exactly why I sell the stuff. Living in close proximity to your chain or pets, kids or extreme sensitivity to smell etc.

HAHA Not EVERY good idea is a GOOD idea ;)

Default NFS the wait is over or is it?

You are killin' me RW KILLING!!!

Listen up everyone who has EVER bugged me for old stock NFS that smells to high heaven. The stuff that turns orange when exposed to sunlight and smells like a dirt floor motorcycle repair shop? I was doing some clean up and found a carbouy that has 6 bottles worth of the old stuff. I'm putting that out there. It is not for sale on the website but I thought I'd ask that you plea your case to the court of public opinion and send the $$ to a worthy cause of my choosing.

Plea your case here and PM me for details.

I'll affix torn in half labels just like the first issue NFS. If you miss out on this deal don't worry there is a small bottle of this stuff on Boyd's doorstep that is 5 years old and only 1/2 empty.

    Josh,

I have heard a rumor that Zevlin might have gone out of business. Have you heard anything to that effect? If so, what does that mean for the NFS bar tape?

    Happy New Year,
    Geoff

I'd be very very sad. Thanks for the heads up this is the first I know of that. We talked at Philly and everything seemed ok. It really is the best stuff.
