"Synergy"
The meeting room I sit next to and book every other day is called the "Synergy Room." Most popular room for those meetings that could be emails.
"Wheelhouse".
Please don't.

How many times in a panel discussion on TV do they have to say
“To your point...” ?
I haven't looked at this thread in a while, but now the word "buzzword" annoys me.

Or, the qualifier that TV “experts” (or politicians) add to a statement:
“With that being said...”
'No offense, but..........'
Inevitably followed by something at best annoying but most likely offensive.

One that´s hard for me to understand: someone is having a meltdown, full emotional trauma deal and a fried comes in. Instead of talking about, hugging or cursing whatever just asks: are you ok?.. just distancing from the emotion and asking the sufferer to distance from the pain either.
Does that make any sense? Being from a latin american culture and used to emotion overflow it looks weird.
slow.
1) drivers suck here ... is there some place where everyone thinks all their fellow drivers are awesome? i have yet to find this place.
2) only in ... person A: traffic really sucks here. person b: only in new york. really? it doesn't suck in la or atlanta or philly or ? when people say only in, its either something that actually happens everywhere or it couldn't be anywhere else ... person a: i went to the statue of liberty, person b: only in new york.
proactive. Arggggh.

Since this is the Love to Hate thread not the Just Hate thread I want to add this: Design Language. My brother used this the other day and I said "What the fuck did you just say?" Now I'm using it at every opportunity. Relevant or not, doesn't matter.
Phrases that I just hate are far too many to list.
This virus thing is all a bit shite, looking forward to seeing some normalcy
