    “Social distancing”.

I often wonder where was the ground zero for these things.
    Whoops, there’s another one.

Don’t know if you asked tongue in cheek or not but that’s the term the hospital I worked at used for moving a patient through their system. Instead of quickly discharge it was “throughput” I hated hearing it because I felt like they were treating patients like stock in the storeroom.

Anyone using the term "30,000 foot view" should be brought to that altitude and shown it, face first.

Errrr, maybe, but nobody is willing to say, "explain this complicated thing to in a way that only an idiot would understand." It's the earned right of the Peter Principle acolyte.

That's a lot to unpack, but I'm looking at the Big Picture. Because sometimes you have to choose the lesser of two evils.

This is an entire sentence that I read today and made me roll my eyes so hard that I almost fell over:

Not a buzzword but when the fuck did

    “No problem”

    Replace

    “You’re welcome”

So “you kids get off my lawn” upset that I actually ‘trained’ Siri On my IOS POS to say you’re welcome.

Ha! So it's not only you!

I recently saw a young woman who required a surgical procedure.
At the end of the visit I told her that we could schedule it if she wished to proceed....
    Her response: "No problem" (!)

We need to develop a customer journey map, so that the clear value added proposition and the quick win can be aligned and leveraged, in order to move the needle towards a win-win and lead the key stakeholders to the low hanging fruit.

I had to repeat myself to get through to vendor technicians working on a conversion the other day when we were talking about a particular non- technical function. They didn't understand "it has to work like it did before" until I said "the user experience must remain unchanged". Then they all murmured agreement.

It made me cringe when I first heard that in London some years ago. It's spread through London like an effing pandemic in recent years.

That's a good one. Never heard that before. What does it mean? Is it like "inflammable" when referring to gasoline?
