OK, camera will be waiting..I'm not sure about the legs to get through L'Eroica, though! How bout if I sit on the side of the road with these guys and eat some sausage, cannellini, and some chianti? That way I could get some action shots of you guys w/o the risk of me falling and getting hurt..I'm good at Chianti Quality Control...

There is also La Strettata late june which is a gran fondo using the same roads but with modern bikes.
Just freshening up this dusty thread..
Had a great time in Bristol at the Bespoked Bristol Bike Show this past weekend. I've made an attempt to sum it up in just a few words and pictures here (click on the huge image that i can't seem to reduce..) :
Hope you find something interesting. Thanks for reading and to those who came out to support custom framebuilders..
ciao!

Ciao Darren, great to meet you in Bristol.
We didn't really get round to talking bikes, but that road bike you were showing was a stunner.
Anyway, quality control is one thing - but judging by some of the sights we saw on the way back to the hotel some people should've been more concerned with quantity control!
All the best, Paul
Hey Paul,
I appreciate that. Thanks for taking the time to come out and have a look and support our little industry. It means the world to us.
Bristol is a beautiful place. I have traveled the world and it still amazes me that folks can be so different that what I'm used to seeing, so close to home.
a presto,

.: LEONARDI RACING - Il Primo Cannondale Store Europeo
Hi Henrique,
Thanks a lot!
That is the ALIKE' fork from Leonardi Racing (ITA). it is a "lefty" style fork based on an older BMW suspension model. You can see some nice pictures of it here on my blog post from a few months ago (scroll to the end of the photos for the fork detail shots).

and a few shots here:

Its design and fabrication is all in-house by Leonardi and he works with an engineer to design his custom parts, many of which are developed into Cannondale production (you'll see his 3yr old quick release hub for Lefty's coming out soon in C'dale production I would imagine). He has a mind that never sleeps and the tech skills to create and improve many existing products and this is just another side project for him. It is available via his website and direct ordering from his shop.
We teamed up years ago when I was researching BB30 specs. Turns out that he's very close to my shop and we collaborate on many projects together.
Thanks for following!

HI sdg71,
Thanks for the props. I was super-thrilled when Campagnolo invited me to be the poster-child for the 80th Anniversary groupset. It seems like such a step away from their former campaigns. I discussed this at length with their Marketing Director (ex Pinarello Director). He was excited to experiment with a new direction in promoting this group and thus asked me if I was willing to participate.
When I regained consciousness, I told him YES! :) What an honor for me.
Regarding the website, I'm happy to finally have an update. It took me quite some time to realize that my site was not viewable in Apple OS. I made the mistake years ago of implementing my site into Flash. At the time there were little solutions with a user control panel and I unfortunately went with the advice of a friend/programmer. The new site is a work-in-progress by any definition and I'll keep tinkering with it. My Mum sent me a laundry list of grammatical corrections. I've been in Italy too long to refuse grammatical help, and Mom's are always right, huh?
Thanks for the shout and I'll try and keep a better handle on updating this thread. Have a great ride!
