Back in the day I’d walk the dog adjacent to the Lincoln Park Zoo and she would lose her mind if the wolves were within sniffing distance. Always cool to seem them padding silently through the snow.

On a moonless night, the stars cast shadows in my back yard. The Wyoming property is the same, just a few more clouds.

My artist wife took this photo. We have a three bedroom home and an empty nest. One bedroom is my office/bike trainer/dissertation room, and the other is her studio where she does commission pieces or just paints for fun. I bought her some sunflowers a few days ago for her studio. On the window ledge are some aspen leaves from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The cat climbed up on the ledge and pulled it all together. This will be a painting in the coming days.
