I’m not going to debate golf vs biking as an outdoor activity these days. (I rode today)
My quibble is with the “leader of the free world” Who has done fuck all to improve things over the last three months (and spent years chirping from the peanut gallery about Obama playing golf), thinking it’s ok, either logically or optically, to go fuck around on a golf course at this time.
"Barack Obama plays golf to escape work while America goes down the drain.”
“Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President, Obama spent the day playing golf. Worse than Carter.” “I love golf, but if I were in the White House, I don’t think I’d ever see Turnberry again. I don’t think I’d ever see Doral again,” “I don’t ever think I’d see anything. I just want to stay in the White House and work my ass off.”

Speaking of WTF, we had a discussion last night of just how pissed off we'd be if part of the reason we were still stuck at home in the UK (we're not but my sister's family is) was partly because whoever wanted to could just arrive at the airport and spread out. Serioiusly? WTF?

El Presidente wants to have full arena attendance for the RNC.
100,000 dead, 30 million out of work, and all this asshole can think about is a party being thrown for him maybe being canceled.
If 100,000 were dead from Ebola and the last President was acting like this, Sean Hannity would just be openly saying the N bomb on TV nightly. Instead these jabronis act like all is well.
If the photos from this weekend are any indication, this summer is going to be a bloodbath.

Our alternate realities are reality.
This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the bike.
Interesting how populist leaders have been a disaster.
Trump - hopeless. Highest death toll in the world.
BoJo - second highest death toll in the world and his chief adviser has been caught red handed breaching lockdown provisions, refuses to resign and won't be sacked.
The dude in Brazil - hopeless.
Don't vote for populist chumps.
