I feel barely worthy, but...numero dos is nearly finished and nearly ready for paint. Built to work with 650b or 700c wheels without too many compromises.

It's an experiment, which is what bikes we build for ourselves should be, right? :P

The rock star is dying. And it's a small tragedy. Rock stars have blogs now. I have no use for that kind of rock star.

really busy! two 29ers one race, one tour, a 26" cruiser waiting for the owner to get dried out from the CA floods to come get it and a 700c all-rounder getting built today. Filing fillets all day with a broken hand :{ a bit of a boating mishap. keeps the purple down if you polish more & builds character. - Garro.

Some things from this week:
A Kuota Kharma after repair. Owner didn't want paint so I clear coated it. To test my new plotter I cut some lettering for him.
The device I use to measure frame stiffness with a digital indicator.
A Felt F65 with a loose break hole boss.
Half of the solar array I installed on my roof.
The splint I made for my broke finger.
More on flickr.
Our new Lista CNC tooling center. Assembled but far from finished.
Lots of new soldiers and lots of old ones...
The cutting edge.
Another Type 3 getting proofed for shipment to the UK
And of course, semi-weekly VW update:
I painted one similar to this a month or so ago and liked it. Did it again.
You'll see this one in Austin

I'll be riding this one at NAHBS.
Met with OBCA crew at Andy's (Strawberry) shop.
And we dropped our last NAHBS bike off at paint today. It seems like we always manage to get a single speed 29er in there some how every year...
My favorite day of the month, delivery.
