I didn't know Stradivari made geetars. Apparently there is one left that is playable, and it sounds pretty good:

Just looked at this again. I would love to see this one in person. I've had the fortunate luck to work on two Lacotes. One being a total rebuild with some parts needing replicating. Also one very early Torres before the what is known as the modern classical shape. It is amazing to see all the the different iterations.
Thank you for posting this. I did know of at least one Stradivarius guitar before this as there is one in the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, which I used to go and look at when I was a student there in the 1970s and when I lived there for a couple of years a decade later. It is one of several important musical instruments in the small collection there. This was I learned from in 1979 and again in 80. The video editing is a little disconcerting. Charles in person, rocks. Also guitar and bike building are not that far apart.
