OT The good cold

It is our first day where it feels like winter. I am feeling nostalgic for those old central Minnesota winters from the 70's when it'd get really cold.

Here is a throwback to the i-500 snowmobile race from St Paul to Winnipeg. My dad was a fan and I remember those cold mornings in the pick-up listening to WJON AM radio give the race recap.



My first snowmobile was an old Johnson Skee Horse in lime green and orange. what a beast.

Still pretty warm in Minnesota. Not enough ice to drive on the lakes yet. Some aren't even safe to walk on.
