    Default Unforgivable Kitchen Items

The last few months have seen me giving my kitchen some long overdue attention. Tonight was spent looking for a butter dish. Which search landed me this wonder of unexpected humor and the idea to start this thread. Surely others must suffer others poor tastes as I do.

Two of my daughters have begun a bad gift contest of sorts. One has decided that the other should have a collection of tasteless salt-and-pepper shakers. In retaliation, she gets kitchen timers that would be at home in any thrift store. A few examples that have changed hands below.

The baby hands are even more creepy in person.

Years ago I bought my wife a meat tenderizer for Christmas. It was a basic model but it was in a white box with "12 inch Meat Hammer" in big black lettering, kind of like the old plain label stuff.

She didn't find it quite as humorous as I did...

Not mine...but I did have a set given to me once. Still readily available throughout the South.

I own a few knives by Cutco.
    Unforgivable?

    (p.s. ... actually, they're not too bad...)

The only reason I buy a-1 is for the baked potato. It's magic.

A-1 or bbq sauce on a sweet potatoes not unforgivable.
