    Default Potential Frame Jig

    Hey gang,

I’ve been looking into build a frame fixture and this seems like a pretty cost effective option, my only concern is that according to the description it can only be set to head tube angles of 15-60 degrees. However I’m not sure how that angle is calculated in the motorcycle world or if it even means the same thing since they referred to it as “head tube rake”. I’m wondering if any one has experience with a set up like this or any guidance they could give me so I don’t go through all the effort of buying this thing and assemble it only to find out it won’t work to build a road frame with the head tube angle I want. Thanks!

That might mean 75 degrees to start (90 minus the 15).

That’s sort of what I was thinking since the frame angle is calculated differently than the “true” angle.
