Early stages of tube inspection, mitering, and 1 degree change in the DT and ST bottom bracket sockets.
I do love painting! A fun 29er. Now all I need is one of the checkered kits that I think TooTall wears to match. And a Disc CX rig that will be flying around the NE circuit with the grace and agility of a Ninja!

Small CX race machine. Color's frankly aren't done justice. There's a candy layer over the Enve fork, so it's this deep purple radness.

Shop building, or "The Relocation of Two Tons of Bulgarian Iron"
Not shown is the hand relocation of several tons of shop mate stuff to get to the doors, some creative rigging with a couple of friends to get it to roll, and a few very gracious neighbors who let me roll through their shops on the way to the crane. This was my first time using a fork lift- I figure why start with pallets when I can just go big.
Fast forward 6 months to a year and your bamboo is dry enough,(pending on climate in your area bamboo can air dry quick or take forever) to make bikes with. Before you put 40 to 50hrs of your time into crafting a frame you might want to try a simple test.
I like to cut out a cross section of bamboo tube I intend to use and split the bamboo with a chisel. If the bamboo snaps back nice and firm after removal of the chisel then its 1 step closer to passing my quality control. If a gap remains after splitting the bamboo it will be more suitable for kindling than making bikes with.
