and I was riding on the footplate of #802 at the head of the Mary Vale Rattler last Sunday.
Joe Cosgrove (the magic of Llewellyn paint) was also on the footplate of 802 for a bit.

The rock star is dying. And it's a small tragedy. Rock stars have blogs now. I have no use for that kind of rock star.

15 hours of shop moving today- most of the heavy stuff is over there now.
I've been keeping this project in the teaser stage for some time, but now that I have it in the pre-paint mock up stage i think it's ready to show off: L'Arrotino

All sorts of aluminum has been shifing through here this week. Like the stuff below...
I'm most excited about this-
1" bad-assedly formed square chainstays and 7/8ths round seatstays and an oversized front end are going to make for some SNAP out of the gate.
I started the company assuming that we'd only be building Dual Slalom bikes. I'm still bummed that's not the case.
DS is a National Championship event again this year and I'm going to use this 4 pounds of aluminum to viciously disembowel anyone who thinks that it's a good idea to get in the gate next to me.
Also finished up a bmx race frame for the #2 GS snowboard racer in the country. He's real fast on a bike too.
3.2 pounds of pro-class metal.
On the lighter front, HavocStaff protos went to heattreat today.
Some cool new stuff on them.
29'r back from paint today and off to Luxe Wheelworks on Monday
I know it's Saturday, but I just got this built. Temporary clearcoat until I decide on a color.
Completely unfinished, I just soaked the flux off and left it.
No jokes about the parts, it's what I had.
