Skyscraper...the four part documentary series ca 1986

It's free on Amazon Prime...a four part behind the scenes documentary about the development, design and construction of a high-rise building project in Manhattan. If you're in the industry, you'll appreciate the various folks in the film and the somewhat unfiltered meetings and interviews. I watched this in awe back then as I could relate to the experiences of the architects and the construction manager...it resonates very strongly today as we still deal with many of the same issues.

That was my favorite EVER series on PBS atmo. One Worldwide Plaza iirc.

I see it's listed as in 4 parts. I recall watching many more one hour broadcasts. Was it only a 4+ hour end to end show atmo?

I recall that it was longer than four parts too but I just watched the first series tonight, which ran about an hour. Series one ended with the first column being installed. I'll do some digging...no pun intended.

I guess that it was five hours total according to a NYT review at the time.
