I just randomly stumbled upon this, and found the use of traditional tools and techniques really delightful. Does anyone here own one?

If I hunted animals I'd want one.
Those are nice John.
I have a couple beautiful TK Steingass hunters. I've gutted and skinned numerous deer and elk with them.

Cool vid....thanks.
I love Finnish knives and have several, some factory and a few handmade.
Leuku by Tapio Syrjälä. When I received this I got a pleasant surprise - the lower portion of the sheath that I thought was stained leather is actually curly birch.
Puukko by Jani Ryynänen
Lastu by Jukka Hankala. He is one of the preeminent Finnish blacksmiths.
I've also made handles for a couple of blank Finnish blades. I made a post about that a few years ago - https://www.velocipedesalon.com/foru...les-28441.html I have two more blanks that I want to make handles for as well but I'm still trying to decide exactly how I want to do them.
This is a great blog if you want to read about Finnish knifemakers - nordiska knivar | Traditional Nordic Knives
