FNL #86 Rule - the one glam shot limit is in effect.
It was a gorgeous day at Canton. Rebecca and Matt flew the Z flag for the day. 2 days to NoHo!
My latest “Four Season’s 953” all arounder…..
Although there is some paint on this one, like all of my stainless bikes, its 100% stainless…..with the exception of the fork blades.
It’s shown with 700x28s, but will fit up to at least 700x35s and fenders.
If anyone is interested, there are more photos of the frame and complete bike here: Anderson Custom Bicycles' photosets on Flickr
Thanks for taking a look!
Dave
Edit: Oops! I missed that one glam shot part until Matt mentioned it. Sorry Zank!

the very beginnings of a stainless 29R. This bike will be at NAHBS and will feature a few kind of cool things. To start is the obvious which is the new 4 bolt removable face stem.

One perched and integrated headtubes for the next few.
Hey, thanks for looking-
I scored some sliding parallels from Mary Ann's Dad, he used to build the robots that made Ford cars
and we were going through his tools and I was gaining a lot of swag
any how, as soon as I saw these
my light bulb lit up
a simple thing, why did I not think of it before
Solved a problem I have had for a long time
Set up is now just a few seconds, happy days
Finally finishing off a Cadenzia fixie which will have Dura Ace on it
oh and it fits me
every time I make a new fixie for myself it is sold before I ride it
any how
I want to try out the XL tubes and the PegoEllyn Cadenzia lugs
you know the tubes, the XL ones that don't plan because they are too stiff....................................
Cheers Dazza
The rock star is dying. And it's a small tragedy. Rock stars have blogs now. I have no use for that kind of rock star.

Sorry Zank, I can not abide the glam shot maximum. FNL is all about glam, no?

The shop improvement/expansion continues! Covered entry way and HUGE 100" tall x 42" wide, 2-1/4" thick solid oak doors.
Nothing more glamorous than photos taken in my basement. Enjoy the weekend - winter's coming.

First post here, nothing much to show except some experiments with carbon. Working with uni-directional prepreg, making head tubes and BB shells, making test joints etc. I've been building with steel at a hobby level for 10+ years.
This bag failed during cure (melted). Will try with higher temp Strechlon 350 material.
Messy wrapping and poor compression at the fillets due to bag failure.
BB Test Joint, glued, not wrapped.
Mill based tube mitering with abrasive belt.

Ultra glam!
Tried to itch my nose with a red hot brazing rod
This one gets seat stays and braze-ons today. It's a 47cm for a great lady named Caroline. Her husbands bike is next weeks project.
#1 Motordome edition 29er. Faux lugs and speed bands!
Not too much work done this week. Shop is nearly up and running. Got a some stays mitered... playing around with my SS look.
She is a big one... Thats a 225mm head tube and 666mm (top to ctr bb) seat tube.

The tattoo bike is back from the paint shop. A little tribal-thing for this bike...I'll build this up this weekend.
