I was thinking about making up a stainless port that terminated the outers of both cables at the headtube and running a pair of thin stainless tubes to an equivlent port in the chainstay - anyone had a go at this before?

Joe,
I’ve done a lot of internal Rohloff cable routing, creating both entrance and exit ports.
Here’s one example to peruse...

Thanks Rody
My principle concern is the size of the hole in the DT so I was going to go into the top of the headtube too - albeit not with such a neat block. I'll press on.
Many thanks for the link!
