Best team in the world with the best coach. It's going to be an interesting few years in Europe.

Insubordinate. And Churlish.
They wouldn't let him into the EPL?
There isn't a club vacancy in England that he would want. Chelsea are toxic right now, with Abramovich's "off with their heads!!" style of ownership. Ferguson, despite teasing us a few years ago, shows little sign of being ready to walk away from Utd. Besides, he'll want to leave his beloved Red Devils in the hands of a long term successor, something Guadiola does not appear to be. Mancini might go at the end of the season, but what if he catches Utd. and retains the championship? Then there is Arsenal... (hahaha) I guess he could have gone to Blackburn.
It probably has a lot to do the FFP regulations coming up...look at the top teams in the world.
AC Milan
Arsenal
Barcelona
Bayern
Chelsea
Dortmund
Juve
Liverpool
ManCity
ManU
Madrid
How many of these clubs are still viable under the new rules?
Arsenal (and let's be honest...they're in this list for popularity and not for results...they really don't even belong here)
Bayern
Dortmund
Juve
Madrid
Now look at this list and see which club has the best financial situation, best club atmosphere/facilities, best youth program and whose players lend themselves best to a Guardiola system.
The choice was pretty easy, methinks.
Insubordinate. And Churlish.
I think Arsenal are on the list in large part because of their business model: an aberration in the Premiership. His decision to take over at Bayern suggests, to me at least, that his top priority is the Champion's League. Honestly, does anyone care about the Bundesliga? Besides a few million humourless Germans I mean.
Sure Bayern is great but the EPL is like riding Campy. Nothing logical about it.
