    Default Ishitani Furniture (Japan)

This Youtube stream is the gift that keeps on giving. I've posted videos of this couple's work (he's the maker, she's the videographer, the dog is just cute) before, so I thought I'd post this latest one specifically in the handmade gallery. Just wait until you see how he builds the truss for the table. And the wood is amazing.

    The whole channel is here.

Also check the woodworking machine videos.

You can have the table, I want the shop. Dust collection through the floor? Awesome.

That is a beautiful table! His skills are astonishing and the videos are very relaxing to watch. I really like the fact that there isn't a soundtrack or any talking over while the work is going on. I have been subscribed to that channel since the first video you put it up. Thanks for the post!

What a beautiful table and table maker !
Thanks for the link to this.
I'd love to retire from my current work to spend days doing something like this.
I love the way that most of the joints of this table don't have glue. They don't need it.
I also loved the way he filled the knots.
Getting the fit of the joints to be just right is a bit like frame building.
He uses a lot of machines though.
Don't really need all those for frame building.
    Any way, thanks !
