I've been listening to him a bit recently. Let me know how it is.
Planning on seeing Social Distortion and AltJ as they roll through BendOR later this year. I'll have to find a reason to leave town during the Phish show though.

I want to finally see Wilco. I'm thinking about their Mass MOCA thing this summer.
I missed Vijay Iyer a few weeks back, and want to see his trio again.
And Sleater-Kinney should come back to Boston soon. They can sleep here.
GO!
Just grabbed a ticket to see Built to Spill again! This time co-headlining with Best Coast who are alright, I guess.
Chaperoning my daughter to "Miranda Sings." Pray for me.
Saw Peter Hook and the Light perform both of Joy Division's albums (Unknown Pleasures/ Closer) along with a mini New Order opening set last Friday. Seeing those songs done live (and loud) was something I never thought I would see in my lifetime. Really excellent show.
Seeing Rush soon. Seeing Agent Orange during the same week. Both trio's, but very different. Looking forward to both.
Going to see Neko Case in Raleigh and Band of Horses/Neil Young in Cincinnati.. Pretty sure those shows are going to kill it.
On a totally different level Kylesa is playing in Atlanta, hoping I can work that out.
‘The Earth is not dying, it is being killed, and those that are killing it have names and addresses-‘ Utah Phillips
Flogging Molly is playing in Tulsa next month, I may have to go.

My first post, hello to anyone reading!
I'm off to see the Super Furries(y Animals) in Cardiff, Wales this Sunday; a little smoke beforehand methinks...
On a complete whim I just ordered two tickets to a Mark Knopfler concert in KC MO in September.
I live in St Louis, my sister who lives in Maine, is a big fan of his, but I have no idea if she's interested in going. We'll see what she says.
Worst case, someone on this forum who lives in the KC area may be getting a great deal from me on a pair of MK tickets...
John Spencer Blues Explosion, end of May in Harrisburg PA.
Good news on this - I've spoken to my sister and she's psyched.
We'll have decide how much other stuff we want to do there (museums, restaurants (we're both vegetarians, so no BBQ) etc.). I've driven through KC quite a few times, but never stopped, so this will be a first-time visit.
Nothing definitive in the near future, but I've got The Aristocrats summer tour penciled in on my calendar. It threatens to be a bit testosterone-heavy (both the music and the audience) which is usually enough to keep me away, but these guys are so talented and versatile that it'll be worth it on the off-chance that they dial down the muscle and crank up the sublime.
Saw Agent Orange two weeks ago and Sleater-Kinney last night. Both bands rocked!!! Fred Armisen and Bob Mould opened for S-K.
