This is so cool. Although there are lots of computer-controlled machining steps in making a rocket, one of the most critical is done by hand, and they have no intention to ever change that. Check out the break press they use. It's... unreal.

Fantastic video. Few thoughts come to mind...

1. Nice to see the state of Alabama in good light. It gets a lot bad press, some of it deserving, but it also has a lot to offer. This in the form of manufacturing and education.
2. Interesting you point out the breaks. Because while watching I’d like ask why they designed this break and not a roll former.
3. It’s such a pleasure to intelligent people discuss a subject. Minus are the ‘like’ or the ‘uh’ and ‘um’. Verbal communication is truly a lost art these days.
