As I sit here in the rain smoking this cigarette filled with...I don't know, probly tobacco, it was his last one and he offered it to me as a gift.
I'm looking into the village of Macarascas realizing that I could probably feed this entire village for six months with the cost of my custom Tactical Research TR101s. What they lack in means, they make up in spirit and grit.
They all wonder who this Hannibal Smith looking 'cano is doing in their village. I greet them in my best (worst?) Tagalog and meet with the captain to explain to her that I'm here to install a radio so they can talk to their fisherman in the bay.
"I'm here to help" said every conquering civilization ever. But tomorrow the fisherman will be able to send a distress call if there's a problem. They might even be able to save the life of a fisherman who might otherwise die.
Give freely...it might mean nothing to you, but it can mean the world to someone in need.
