hey, how lucky can one man get.
I've spent the better part of the past dozen years getting my aunt's ducks in a row. She has 24/7 home care, and I can sleep easily. The task fell to me because I loved her, and saw where treating manic-depression with drugs would end up.
Which is why I suggest to anyone building a house to make it ADA compliant with an eye to aging in place.
That is lovely. We took care of my dad and mom to the last day. We felt very fortunate to have that.

That's beautiful. Monday will mark 37 years since my mom's passing. My dad followed ~30 days later. Divorced, dysfunctional, I have chronicled here my struggles in my earlier life. My in-laws have recently separated after 56? years. There is a lot of dysfunction and emotional trauma hanging over the family at this time. If it could only be like......
Thanks for sharing that. I am contemplating whether or not to show my wife. Don't want to stir up the parental-induced lingering guilt...
