The Moth
Listened to an hour or so of this program on NPR driving to Detroit today. That hour went by rapidly. Good stories.
Good stuff. Not sure where this belongs, but some folks might like it.

Oh. Also forgot to suggest Snap Judgement . Not as good as the Moth but still very good.

Re: The Moth
Long live public radio. There are some real gems and yes that's a good one esp. great for those long drives.

Re: The Moth
I once worked in a glass factory with a team of people whose duties changed every half hour. One duty, that of cleaning the finished product, was the one nobody seemed to like. Even I didn't enjoy it as much as the other duties, but we would clean the sheets of glass in the quality control department rather than our production area, and the QC people would often listen to the Moth. That was three years ago, and to this day I kinda miss getting stuck on wash duty.
I've also heard Snap Judgment a couple times, and agree with false_aesthetic.
And as for an hour going by quickly, I once ended up sitting in a van, having just parked on the street, for nearly the whole hour of this Freakonomics episode, and thought I only sat for maybe up to 15 minutes.
I love NPR in general. It keeps me from feeling too lonely while hanging out all night with sheep, as well as while just living in this crazy nation. haha.

Re: The Moth
Love the Moth. I save up the podcasts and listen on long trips (Baller's drive in 2012, FL this winter...) We also saw a live taping in Somerville last fall.
GO!
