Why do some people "like" their own social media posts? I know a few people who do, but I find it too embarrassing to ask them.
Any insights?

Can be click mistakes. Or people seeing their own post from a while and thinking wow this guy is really smart without looking at the name.

I break out into a cold sweat panic if my thumb slips and errantly likes one of my posts. I too am dumbfounded by people who like their own posts from multiple user accounts which I find epically sad. But I see no value in likes apart from activity.
To love others, first you must love yourself.
Doing it from multiple accounts? I haven't spotted it yet, but that's some epic dedimacation!
What I have seen are people using their personal account to "like" a post on their business account. I think it's nice when employees do that. However, I'm not so sure when the principal / proprietor does it, particularly if it is a sole proprietorship, ie, the posts on the business account are uploaded by him/herself, or it's a family business where a spawn is managing the business account.

What does tweeting in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS say about oneself?

hey, how lucky can one man get.
Does this mean a request to the fine Vsalon Administrators to like one's own post would be fruitless?
It seems I've had a few posts that only myself find 'like' worthy and I'd like to give them a thumbs-up.
FYI - pure sarcasm ^^

If the process is more important than the result, you play. If the result is more important than the process, you work.

I’d love (I’d prefer) it if all Like button functions were defunctionized.
Liking your own posts is so weird.
