In case you hadn't heard. This would be fun to see in person - incredible athletes.

This will be the first time World Rowing has sponsored this sort of competition.

I did this 6 (?) years ago. There are ample puke buckets.

When I did it the ergs had digital displays showing where you and your competitors were placed. I was the rabbit ;) Go out hard, go harder, hang on.....

I bought my erg one day used after that event a couple years ago. At TooTalls recommendation.

They do a marathon at this event. On the result sheet I saw, three guys finished. Nothankyou

that event is nuts but hey we are nuts in our own right eh? I'll go back to that event someday, it's a benchmark. Last time I laid down a respectable time with almost zero erg experience all my time was on the water. Erg'ing is different and going fast on the erg is stupid and awesome.
