Salt and Pepper! Cold over warm. I always eat one warm but I always prefer refridgerator cold.

ALWAYS with old eggs! It is how you get easy peel. Something to do with the inner membrane dying off as they age.

I'm a sucker for deviled: Dijon, S&P with 1/2 a cocktail onion and a stripe of Sriracha on top.

Forgot to add, and agree, that the bright orange yolk from a true free range, natural feed chick is an absolute necessity.

What is your boiling recipe ? Eggs in water, bring to boil, off & covered, 18 minutes, cold water.

Eggs on cold water, bring to boil, boil 5 minutes turn heat off and let cool in water.

I've taken to steaming as of late. 1 inch of water in a pot, eggs in a steamer basket, bring to boil, steam for 9-10 mins for medium boil 12 for hard, 6 for soft.

A friend of mine gave me a few duck eggs recently. Bigger, harder/darker yolk, more flavor, very good. Didn't hard boil any though.

Easter eggs get eaten out of fridge, shake of salt per bite, old eggs for easy peeling. My mother makes the best deviled eggs and potato salad, must remember to get recipe for both.

Does steaming lead to easier peeling ? Have to try it.

Just recently tried some with guacamole like a deviled egg, yum. Usually plain with a dash of sea salt, yolk and all.

Hardboiled eggs work great for making Power-Sandwiches, too.
Multiseed loaf, and hummus, oh yeah
