That plus a bag of aluminum and a strip of magnesium we could have us a good time.

Used to have one years ago, fun times. Lotta wear and tear for 47,000.

Funny he mentions the paint is in poor shape (new owner welcome to repaint - duh) and the car is rot-free. But, there's obvious signs the car has been repainted and spots of rust showing. I'd be real curious as to what was covered up by the respray.

If it's like any of the other S30 builds online... a lot.

Cool cars. It's a real shame cars don't look like that any more.

Good writer tho. Made $9500 sound reasonable. Too bad about the photos. He should have just left those out.

Picture 17 in the ad shows a 928, a Saab 99, Volvo 122, some sorta cool truck, and an 90s Audi S6. I'd like to know more about a couple of those...

As a denizen of Keene for a decade I can easily recognize most of the backgrounds there.... but not that collection of older (awesome) cars. It's piqued my interest - I think I know where it is, but have no idea why those cars are there.
I'll try to find out more- I'll visit the site when I'm in town on Monday.

Datsun 240Z and Datsun 280Z were the bee's knees years ago.
To my eye the earlier 240Z seemed lighter and far more athletic.
As the car became the 300Z it just seemed bloated and unsightly.

From 1970 to 1978, as it morphed from 240 to 260 to 280, I think the bumpers got clunky and added visual weight. And not insignificant length. Body was the same.

I saw the uppermost reaches of that speedo in a 260Z, it still scares me to think of it.

This went for $8800: No Reserve: 1974 Datsun 260Z - Bring A Trailer

Cool car. Even with that old guy driving it.
