    Very nice work!

I don't get much occasion to make furniture that large. No doubt it takes some serious equipment and some big-ass clamps to make that happen. How much do you have to do with the design process, or are you following precise plans?

    Nice wood, sheesh.
Tell me more about the supports. Feels very Flat Iron / influence.

the firm i work for does all the design work. yes we had some very big clamps, i just used some 15 foot bar clamps for a set of walnut tables I've been working on for a few weeks. The base for both of the conference tables in that set are all steel. Everything was made in house including the fasteners. We have a wood shop (where i work) as well as a machine shop so we are able to produce some really unique work.
