Steve calls this "Eddy style." I prefer to call it "Hampco style." No offense to Eddy or anything.

Been quiet last week as I have just signed the lease for the new Kumo Cycles HQ.
I love the space, not too small, not too big either... Still need to move in storage, stock and my Lathe.
Would like to sort out some better lighting too
Moved in and got right to work, finishing off this fillet brazed road frame:
And starting on a frame for a Vsalonista from Melbourne

You have to see this one in person! What a tough bike to capture on film but quite stunning to see with your own eyes. Pat sent me a picture of a MINI, I said sure!

Busy as hell, although I know I say that every week.
Wrapping up a 29er and build kits like crazy, and trying to dry, freeze and cook as many peaches as possible.
Some pictures of clients out on the trails, singletrack is perfect right now in Monsoon Season.
Also, a quick little interview by Josh at the Bicycle Story: Steve Garro: Arizona’s Mountain Biking, Trouble Making, Frame Building Legend | The Bicycle Story

Starting in on a heavy makeover-
Well, "practice" frame number 1 was a bit of a bummer. I didn't get the BB fully flowed. It's not a joint I've had much trouble with before. I think the consistency of the flux was too thick in the BB and most of it got pushed out when the ST and DT were installed. A silly mistake, but that's why its practice right? Pretty happy with the rest of the brazing though. On to the next one.
Fully dissected.
HT, DT joint.
ST joint.
That damn BB.
Dropout, CS joint.
So, anyone know a source for subtle colored bar tape? Thinking this thing requires olive drab before it's star turn on the New England "killer B" CX circuit.

Next month, belt drive.

What's that high-zoot cotton stuff that all the cool kids are using these days? Newbaum's? I'd bet their yellow, shellacked, would get you pretty close to olive drab.
