Anyone used fillet pro for joining stainless to 4130? Can you use the same flux that you would for silver brazing (1050f-1600f)? Looking at the cycle designs site and they sell flux that sounds similar to the silver flux I have.
Cheers

I would recommend a flux that has a higher temperature range than 1600º. Cycle Design Stainless Light flux I believe is active up to 1700º. Another option is Gasflux Type G that also remains active up to 1700º. While standard silver flux works, there is not reason to take the risk of using a lower temperature flux. This is especially true for those that aren't experienced in brazing stainless.
I've done a lot of it and use 50N and Gasflux type U flux
